Our main event of the year is our Classic and Steam Vehicle Show this years dates are…
The 3 day event is held at Haycrafts Lane, Harman’s Cross, Swanage with a beautiful view across the Swanage Railway track with the passing Steam and Diesel trains at the bottom of the field, the monies raised at this event go to The Swanage Railway, last year we gave them an incredible £3,250 from this very show.
There is something for everyone at this show with a varied selection of vintage, modern and custom motorbikes, classic cars, tractors, vintage campervans, commercial vehicles, stationary engines as well as trade stalls and displays. If you are traveling to this show by car we will be providing a free car park in the field opposite the show field. If you are traveling by train, get off at the Harman’s Cross station and the show field is a 2 minute walk, opposite the village hall.
Entry to the show field is £5 per person children go free, 10am – 5pm. Dogs are welcomed into the show but please keep them on a lead and tidy up after them.
We will have onsite catering and coffee van along with our community beer tent where you can sit and rest during the day and in the evening there will be music along with cans of beer, cider and soft drinks.
If you would like to bring your exhibit along to this show there is a £15 exhibit fee, this does include unlimited 3 day travel on the Swanage Railway for 2 people whilst the event is on (more wristbands can be purchased for £15 for 2 people, can be purchased on the day). Cars and motorbikes must be at least 20 years old to be displayed at this event, rules set by the Swanage Railway.
Camping is also available, we are asking for a £5 donation to help with the costs. There will be evening trains running over the Friday and Saturday so you could pop into Swanage for dinner or a drink and get the train back to the campsite, which is a 2 minute walk from the Train Station.
